A little tumble

The rain had been more present outside the city than it had been at mum’s house (or perhaps it dried quicklier there between houses) and I kind of regretting going, but I also didn’t want to give up.
Resulting in me taking a little tumble… It went by SO fast – I rolled over the ground, my shoulder hitting it first and then me rolling over quickly and getting up. I think it literally only took two seconds or less, because my reaction is: I don’t want to be touching the ground..!!
If you know me, I don’t mind pain, but I do mind touching the ground where tons of people have walked/spat/peed/pood etc. I decided to continue what I started anyway, my logic being that I didn’t hit my head and therefore all’s good enough.
It happened there where there’s a Strava segment, so you’d think that it’s a road where loads of people skate as well (I took the second place a few months ago and I planned on defending my title). However, it’s from above a bridge, then a steep road down (a road that’s smoother than previous, since they rebuilt it) and then a very, VERY sharp bend onto a horribly maintained pathway. Runners and even cyclists often take this path, but it’s safe to say now that it’s definitely not safe for skaters, especially when your wheels are wet and the road is moistured as well.
Anyway, it hurts pretty badly. I also took a hit on my elbow and a tiny bit on my knee, but the shoulder is a bit concerning. Like I said, I don’t care about pain, but what gives me more anxiety than anything else, is a potential hospital visit, because HUMANS and especially ill humans AND having to sit on a dirty stool and people touching me….
Fortunately, it’s not broken (my man looked up the symptoms), but it’s definitely otherwise fractured.
Oh well.
Time will tell.
